GYNECOLOGICAL HYSTEROSCOPY

Gynecologic hysteroscopy is an exploration that allows you to directly observe the inside of the uterus or womb.

This procedure can be performed for diagnostic purposes or for the treatment of intrauterine pathologies and also as a surgical intervention method.

A thin optical device (a hysteroscope that is inserted from the vagina) is used. To have good visibility, it is necessary to distend the uterine cavity by means of a serum or gas to inflate the cavity and thus, have a better vision.
